MY TOP 5

I know what everybody thinks. In order to be a leader, you must have all of these traits. To be brave, honest, selfless, wise and peaceful. And of course everybody has their own opinions so this is mine. Here is my TOP 5.

 

 

 

TOP 5: ERUDITE
It's not that I don't like Erudite, it’s just my least favorite. An Erudite has a tendency to be "the smart guy". He might know everything but who likes a know-it-all? Also, an Erudite are the most likely to be the cause of corruption. They are thirsty for knowledge which leads to lust for power. They can easily manipulate people with their intelligence which is why it would be hard to trust an Erudite.
 And being smart doesn't make people a better person, it just makes them smarter.

TOP 4:AMITY
Amity is my Top 4 because I like the idea of peace. But we are not going to be peaceful if we let others take advantage of us. An Amity is too soft to be a leader. They trust and forgive quickly which can make others take advantage of their idea of “peace”.  They are too gullible to be a leader which is not a quality leader.
 The most powerful weapon you can use is the instrument of peace, use it wisely.

TOP 3:ABNEGATION

Top 3 is Abnegation because what many leaders today need is selflessness. And I mean GENUINE SELFLESSNESS. Many leaders convince themselves that what they’re doing is selfless but actually, they are doing it for their own sake which is called selfishness or vanity. Also, being too selfless is a negative trait. Taking the opinions of other people is not always the right thing to do. Sometimes, they need to think of the decisions they’re making.

Think of not what the people want but what the people need.

 

TOP 2: CANDOR
“Honesty is the best policy”. Top 2 is Candor because they would take anything to get the truth out. Today, we also need HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY. It is such a huge issue today because it is what the people wants. Compared to the others, they can determine what’s right from wrong.  The only negative side of being a Candor is being too blunt which is not such a bad thing because in politics or any leadership, you don’t need to be the “nice guy”, you have to be the “right guy”.
  “The truth first before anything”, a Candor would say.

TOP 1: DAUNTLESS
 Guts is everything. Even if you have the first four attributes, if you’re not brave enough to fight for what you believe in, it would take you nowhere. Being brave is believing yourself over others. If you don‘t convince yourself, you wont convince anyone. But whether you like it or not, everybody needs fear because it’s what challenges us to be better at something. Being stubborn is also not a good thing. Well, sometimes it is but only when you are really 100% sure that you are right but if you’re not, you might have some problem.

Just like Jose Rizal’s philosophy, you can’t be peaceful if you don’t fight for what you believe in.

 

AMITY TYPE

Amity (The Peaceful)   dedicated to peacefulness, kindness, forgiveness, trust, self-sufficiency, and neutrality. 

Amity is the faction that dislikes war. They formed Amity in order to have a peaceful society free from conflict and sadness caused by wars and instigation.They are truly a democratic faction, voting on everything, almost unanimously. They prioritize peace so they forgive and trust fast.

POSITIVE SIDE   They can solve things without having a conflict.

NEGATIVE SIDE   They might be too soft to protect a civilization. Others might take advantage of the fact that they are peaceful and they forgive and trust quickly.

DAUNTLESS TYPE

Dauntless (The Brave)   dedicated to courage, bravery, and fearlessness.

   Dauntless is those who blamed cowardice for society's problems. The only answer is to face your fears and find bravery.The Dauntless value the virtue of bravery over any other, as such they train to fight and use weapons to prepare their bodies to respond to threats and challenges, which is necessary if they want to survive life as a Dauntless.They also emphasizes the idea of freedom from fear, and test this daily by attempting death-defying feats.

POSITIVE SIDE   They won't think twice in making decisions. If they think its right then they will fight to prove it.

NEGATIVE SIDE   Everybody, whether they like it or not, needs fear because without it, we cannot function.

Erudite (The Intelligent)
   dedicated to knowledge, intelligence, curiosity, and astuteness.

   Erudite is those who blamed human ignorance for the faults of society. They formed Erudite as a way of eliminating ignorance and darkness from human minds. Erudite values the virtue of intelligence and wisdom over any other. They focus their lives on the pursuit of knowledge. Erudite are expected to delegate themselves in the library reading books, or, most commonly, reading something from the computer. They are also known to have memorized the city map. Members are also known to be particularly eloquent.
POSITIVE SIDE   They are intelligent and wise in making decisions. 

NEGATIVE SIDE   Because of the Erudite's thirst for knowledge, they are the ones easily susceptible to moral corruption as knowledge leads to lust for power.

CANDOR TYPE

Candor (The Honest)   are known to value honesty and transparency.


 Candor is formed by those who blamed duplicity and deception, who believed that dishonesty is the key fault in human nature which began evil and war. They believe in the principle that honesty and openness would lead to a more peaceful and perfect society. Candor are serious about their views on honesty against dishonesty. Some might describe the Candor as being honest to a fault — even, in some cases, so honest as to be insulting. But they would rather insult someone then stoop to lying; likewise, a member of Candor would rather be insulted than lied to. They view complete and utter honesty as the ultimate perfection.

POSITIVE SIDE
   They only speak the truth.
NEGATIVE SIDE
   They will speak the truth even though it will insult others.

ABNEGATION TYPE

Abnegation (The Selfless) 

    dedicated to selflessness and forgetting oneself for the sake of others.

Abnegation is those who blamed selfishness for human nature's errors. They believe in selfless actions and attaining peace through the elimination of selfishness. By doing so, they choose to completely forget themselves and only serve others.They reject vanity and self indulgence, protecting themselves from greed and envy which are considered forms of selfishness.

POSITIVE SIDE   They think for the people and not for themselves.   They have guilt.

NEGATIVE SIDE   They might do what many people want even though it might not be the best solution.
